Some gamers delight in the different when it comes to them. Others can only survive when experiencing the different. This list chronicles games enjoyed by the latter. I haven't actually played a sizable chunk of these.

Mentioned every single time "games" and "art" have ever appeared together in a sentence. Oh, and there are only 16 enemies in the entire game.
Prequel to Shadow of the Colossus. I actually don't know too much about this game other than that.
Kill the guard blocking the door with the Dragon's Tooth or sneak into the ventilation shaft into the next room? Pretty good story, too, with some depressing endings.
I could just fill this list up with Tim Schafer games.
The Half-Life 2 story will never conclude because the cake ended up being a lie.

The games after this are generally considered good "different/art" games, but aren't as recognized among this type of playerbase.
I actually haven't seen this game come up ever among fans of the art/different game, but some of the technologies/quotes/characters/overall universe are so memorable that I have to include it.
System Shock 2 is better etc etc
