We just started reading Ninjago. The books are terrible -- they gloss over most of the story, but my sons love them.
I can't tell if Vinny is saying that they're not that interested in the game, and they just want to watch the show or that they like they game because it's full of cutscenes.
Regardless, interesting to see what's in my future. Thanks Vinny!
@eazeapeazea: Although I'd say that I appreciate other people saying they didn't think the puzzle was too difficult. (Especially Autechresaint's breakdown.) I often see videos where the player comments about how the puzzles "aren't good" but they seem sufficient to me. I can't tell if my bar for puzzles is very low or if most people just hate any kind of puzzle. I appreciate knowing that I'm not the only one who found the solution intuitive -- especially when trying to break down the game design to see what's flawed.
Maybe for the previous few hours, the solution to everything has been "shoot everything" so throwing in a puzzle confuses the player instead of mixing things up. Seems like the biggest problem was how hard it was to see the magnet cube. But they gave you the pieces and didn't hold your hand to put them together: the video telling you to contain, the safe view of the magnet socket on the wall, the power cube on your way into the room, the big door in between the power cubes.
Alex doesn't like puzzle games or (I think) Dark Souls games, so it's unsurprising if he doesn't enjoy or intuit these puzzles. I'd be curious to hear Vinny talk more about Control.
* Remember my Grid vs Carousel selection (I always want Grid View).
* Have a page like Latest, but only includes Shows from My Watchlist.
I don't have time to watch every video. When I have 30 minutes to spare, I want to watch a new episode of my favourite shows. (I use GB on desktop and mobile and this would help on both platforms.)
Because I'm a premium member, I avoid youtube and qlcrew to be free of ads (especially on mobile).
Just wanted to say I enjoyed this Unfinished! There's a lot to this game so it's interesting to hear the dev talk about it. Here a podcast with more about his history before Spy Party and leading up to early access (a longer version of this intro with more diversions).
@singing_pigs: I think 21 is when they start. They finish around 31:00 (premium but I trim the intro song).
If you fast fwd, you'll miss the name of the next game because they only say it once: Assemblance. It's the VR game Dan thought might be Frog Fractions 2 and Jeff wants faster movement speed.
Was that head texture ever used in a game or video? Google thinks it's from papercraft: http://www.tested.com/art/makers/461436-maker-faire-2014-we-make-papercraft-big-head-costumes/
But that doesn't look right.
Maybe Will's new VR thing is Your Own Personal Will Smith. Good branding.
