Tada! Here is my own cosplay of Katherine, from the newly realeased (at least in the US) Catherine game by ATLUS. I loved Katherine's design from the moment they announced Catherine. I waited to cosplay her until after I played it through to see if I liked the character, and I did. Though I like how liberal Catherine was, I related to Katherine more. She's serious, driven, and classy, and career-oriented. If only she was a little less naggy, though.

We picked up a cupcake similar to the one Katherine stabs in the game and used the strawberries to represent both girls and Vincent. It was even more amazing to find that the cupcake's filling was ruby red, so we used that to our advantage for some horror-inspired shots. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as we did creating them! :D

@Hector: Thank you! I'd like to see a really well done Vince cosplay, too. It's as if the simpler a costume is, the easier it is to mess it up. I've seen some "almost" perfect Vince's, but they usually drop the ball with the hair. :(

@Baal_Sagoth: Thank you so much! ^_^ And thanks for the sweet comment on my wall!  My photographer is also a Catherine-holic, so we got the idea for the more creepy photos over lunch as I ate in Katherine cosplay. Most of us will never look at a fork the same way again.
 
@csoup: Hahaha, indeed! I kind of want to make her Doom's Bride outfit now. Posing for creepy photos is so much funner than for smiley photos.
 
@I_smell: Thank you for the helpful suggestions, I'll definitely keep them in mind! :D The hardest part of a new costume is getting a feel for the character in photos. Looking at this set, I keep thinking "I should've done this or that pose" but there's always next shoot.

I've never played the game, but yeah pretty cool.

You don't look as bookish as Katherine, and you could probably use makeup to look more boring, but WHATEVS, outfit's great, good job.

Wow, very well done shoot! All of those pictures are great and sexy but I particularly love the second one with the fork. That's just fucking awesome, really outstanding shot.

Needless to say, I'd really like to see what else you come up with in the future or stuff you might've already done. Awesome work!

@Vegsen: Thank you! Oh man, we found this GREAT location in town that is similar to Stray Sheep. I'm waiting on the photographer to post/email them. The worst part about cosplay is waiting for photos. ;_;

@Rabid619: Thank you very much! Catherine cosplay is growing in popularity, so you just might see some up there. :D I went to a con yesterday and someone made an AWESOME "stray sheep" costume. Pic related, what a nice guy.  What's most surprising is how much love people have for K Katherine.

@Origina1Penguin: Thank you! I'm glad you noticed the lighting, those were the funnest to create. I know you can't "hear" a photo, but the photographer and I were screaming Katherine quotes at each other the whole time.

@ThunderSlash: Hahaha! McManeater. And yes! That's her last name according to the manual. I thought it was cheesy, too. Thanks for the compliment! ^_^ It was a relief to cosplay something "easy." Even finding the blue pinstripe fabric was easy, I thought I'd have to dye regular pinstripe to get it "perfect" but I just picked it up at the store. @_@ That rarely ever happens.

 @benjaebe: Thank you!~ ^_^ Overall it was pretty easy to put together, but finding certain items like the right wig shade and the belt were a little more troublesome.

I just saw this on the Giantbomb thread feed. I have to ask this though after seeing the title, is that really her last name? I haven't played this game yet but that is a pretty fitting/lazy last name for her role in the game. Now to see if Catherine's last name is McSlut. 
 
Great cosplay though! Even though Katherine's costume isn't exactly hard to create, you pull it off quite well.

Huh, weird that no one has posted in this yet. I'm going to an expo in Toronto this month and I'm secretly hoping to see some Catherine cosplay... it's a bit of a guilty pleasure, but I love it. 
 
The cosplay is great imo. Looks spot on to me, really well shot as well. Keep it up!
