Well, you win some, you lose some. Australia gets to wait forever to play Rock Band, the HotD Hand Cannons don't get released in North America. Happy now, Australia?
I kinda bounced between MGS4 and GTA IV myself. Aside from both having the number 4 attached to their titles, they both had a lot of good things going for them and both had their share of blemishes. But, MGS4 lost because of large pimple on the forehead of an otherwise cute college girl.
I know Kojima loves him some cutscenes. I get it. I've understood that since Metal Gear Solid on the original PlayStation. But when I can get up, cook dinner, eat it, and still have time to shower and catch the very last confrontation at the end, it becomes excessive. I dilligently watched every last cutscene my first time through. GTA IV takes it by a nose. Although, with MGS4's hideously long nose, just barely.
Honestly, there's a whole laundry list of places it could be set or resemble. Although, I would seriously hope it isn't a GTA IV spin-off or sequel. Considering how oft-delayed IV was, the turnaround time to produce another retail game sometime this year seems improbable.
Of course, the printed statement pretty much contradicts itself, so this could all just be moot.
I'd like to see how many tickets to "Crank 2" that'd buy. Personally, I'm cool with one ticket to "Crank 2." Maybe two if I decide to take the girlfriend.
Consoles have reached that "how can games look better than this?" mentality you just didn't get out of the PS2/Xbox era. As far as I'm concerned, as long as my 360 is chugging along and developers are making software for it, it's not going anywhere. I'm cool with that.
Why couldn't that kid put that much effort into legalizing something normal?
Wanting to legalize pot is normal...hedgehogs are not normal. This sets a legal precedent. Does this mean California is gonna overturn its ban on ferrets?
I know this is a game website by design, but if you wanna post something totally awesome that is unrelated to video games shouldn't be something you need to justify.
The first one was a fun movie. This looks on par with that.
