Fears are personal. If someone finds something scary or not scary, but you have a different reaction, they're not wrong and you're not right. Nor are they diminishing your fears for not sharing them. For your own sake and the sake of the staff, stop talking in those terms. Chill out. Go watch something else.
For my part, I don't give a shit about the sanctity of this game or which ways of play are 'correct' or not. I like spending time with these people, and this game seems well-made and is neat to look at, and so I like watching these videos.
Too many people spend too much time implicitly demanding that Giant Bomb staff play games the way they would like to watch them be played, rather than the way the staff wants to play them. I urge you to reevaluate the dynamics of this relationship.
@free583: Yeah, I was looking at SCUF controllers and Xbox-to-PS4 wireless adapters for a a couple of days, honestly. It's just not worth it for me to hurt myself to play on that console if that's what it really comes down to. It's too bad that quality alternatives are either extremely expensive (SCUFs, the only third-party controller that seems to be worth a damn, are like $160 for the Vantage 2, which is the only version of their controller with that joystick layout that reviews well), or unpredictable (there's a wireless plugin pack that apparently works perfectly for some, but disconnects a lot for others - can't be bothered with a 'solution' like that).
Thankfully, crossplay makes this a non-issue for Warzone atm, but I am honestly bummed that I don't think I'm physically capable of playing on the PS5 unless they make the changes I need for that to work out in my favor.

Played Xbox exclusively for four years, then I got a PS4. Within days of Apex launching, I've got tendonitis in my thumbs. Dropped Apex after awhile, thumbs are fine. Warzone launches, I play it on PS4 with my friends - tendonitis in thumbs again.
I looked this up, and it turns out a lot of people have this problem with PlayStation thumbstick positioning and the thumbstick click resistance (you're clicking the thumbsticks basically the entire time you play FPS games, relative to other types of games). As such, I'm very disappointed they are keeping the centered thumbstick positioning, though I understand it's their trademark at this point. I hope they at least drop the click resistance or somehow address this ergonomic flaw.
just FYI in Animal Crossing, if you are account sharing via setting your console as their account's primary console, you CAN visit that person's island via internet play. Perhaps the limitation is specifically for local play.
I'm surprised only one other person mentioned the audio! Alex is extremely loud here. I very much love this series, particularly for how mellow it is. Alex's volume negates that element of it for me. If I turn it down to the point that his volume is normal, I can't hear Abby or the gameplay. Please be sure the audio is not out of balance like this in the future. Thank you so much!!
