@cristianarg: Definitely as a rule of thumb it's better to prune your deck then add to it (card removal is worth it at almost any cost) until you get a card you can build around.

I clocked in 216 hours before completing the 20th ascension level with The Silent in January. This game (and similarly Into the Breach) is an absolute masterpiece.
