My extremely provisional top games of 2017

Now it's good?
Feel good fun!
I think I liked this? But also it's super boring and the story is absolute garbage, which could be fine if it weren't so thinly spread and poorly told. And this is from someone who doesn't even care about LotR lore or any of that.
With that said it has undeniably solid combat and the personality they put into the orcs saves it from being a complete slog... what a shame that none of that charisma ever rubs off on anyone you're meant to care about.
Seems good but very long not that far into it
#1 game I willed to be better than it was. (Maybe my favorite opening to a game this year?).
Got to these a little late but honestly, and I know it's super boring at this point, easily the best thing I played this year were Heart of Stone and Blood & Wine which are both just incredibly well done. Very satisfying end to the story.
I know this also game out last year but very honorable mention because I feel like both the story-telling and mechanics were a step up from the first game plus I love the setting so much.
