RE2, playing through it with a friend who is also a big fan of the series (RE4 is one of our favorites). I've been watching mostly, except I'm doing all the puzzles. Just a fantastically made game all around - the graphics, sound, difficulty, design are all top notch. We went through the Claire route, and I'll probably go through the Leon route myself at some point.

Astral Chain. It had all the pieces for me - cyberpunk aesthetic, Platinum game design, interesting combat mechanics... but it didn't come together for me. I ended up liking the investigations and chatting with certain folks at the police station the most. But the story and main characters were flat, I HATED the level design in the demon world (whatever it was called), I found the character models off-putting, and the combat was only satisfying in spurts. I had such high hopes but I was quite bored sometimes.

Definitely not terrible - I'd still say it was a good game overall, but only just. I thought it was going to be amazing.
