First, although it's an older game, I felt it was the best RTS I've played—and that's for the FA version, though the others were good, too.
My only issue is I wished Chris Taylor's development team had anticipated and done something to prevent an early game ending tactic than should be allowed. What do I mean? If I start building up a squadron of 20-40 bombers (and that doesn't take as long as it sounds), I can then end the game once I've spied out the enemy SCA. It doesn't matter how many shields or how many air defenses are in operation. Once that amount of bombers all unload on their target—it's time to stick a fork into it—because it's all done.
