I started up a guild in WildStar and it would be great to have some GB community members join up.

Focus: End-game raiding and PvP

What We're About

Ascendance is a new Exile guild comprised of a core group of members that have played various games and MMO’s with one another for over a decade. We have raid leading experience that spans through GW, GW2, WoW, FFXI, FFXIV:ARR, and now WildStar. We do not limit ourselves solely to MMO’s as most of us enjoy also playing MOBA’s and FPS’s amongst others. Our guild prides itself on getting to know our members on a personal level, not viewing people as just a number to fill a spot. Our aim is to create lasting friendships and a strong community of like-minded gamers that impact the community of WildStar in a positive manner.

Goals

Our goal in WildStar is to play the game at a semi-hardcore level with a strong emphasis on end-game raiding. We will have scheduled raids at least 3 nights a week starting at 9:00PM EST and ending at 12:00AM EST. We will use a loot system that will reward players based on attendance. With that said most of us also enjoy PvP, so we will make frequent use of arenas and warplots and encourage people with a strong interest in PvP to apply.

Expectations

We expect our members to be courteous and respectful to others. We absolutely do not tolerate bigotry, racism, and absurdly profane language or behavior. During raids we expect everyone to make use of Mumble and come ready to progress and clear content in a serious manner. We are a naturally laid back and easy going group, but when it comes to progression, we like to talk strategy opposed to nonsense.

Requirements

• You are at least 18 years old to join. Rare exceptions can be made for truly exceptional players.
• You are a committed individual who has a strong desire to conquer new content (primarily raids/dungeons).
• You know how to have a good time and have fun while being a positive player people tend to look up to.
• You are active. We plan on raiding 3-4 nights a week. Eastern time zone.
• You have access to the Mumble voice client.

I got a Fatburger here in NY.  Personally, I think it sucks.  Give me a good ol' Whopper any day.

Why not?

I believe Kojima being overrated is in the eyes of the beholder.  As a whole I do not think he is overrated whereas hype-factor might make it seem so.  He produced many great, enjoyable titles that I and many others still enjoy playing to date.  That being said I cannot wait to see what his next project is that he will be undertaking.
