If there's a game series out there that consistantly delivers games which exceed my expectaions, it's the Age of series by Ensemble games. Age of Empires 2 was the first game where I could assault the gates of Tokyo with Elephant mounted cannons, and No game has done it right since. Yes, Elephant ****ing mounted cannons.
