I personally thought dead space 1 was scarier than the second one.  
 
I thought it was a little but to predictable in a way.  
 
BUt it was amazing! <3

I say it depends on where you will get the most play from. 
 
Dead space 1 ps3 For sure.
Dead space 2 360 = since It has online, Only if your friends play it more on the 360. If they don't then get the ps3 one. Extraction was a lot of fun

Maybe lol It took me forever to finish DS1, This one I flew by...  
 
Then again I have the zealot force gun =X Collectors editions all the way =)

The pack, There easy to kill but annoying as shit! 

Damn it, am I the only one that is having trouble beating the final boss.   I screwed myself by not buying any health packs or ammo (stupid me) =/  
 
But I agree, It's kind of a lame final boss. I expected a giant hulk sized necromorphe (sorry forgot how to spell it) to come out of the marker after I shot nicole lol  
 
Overall, I loved the game, although I thought it was easier than the first one, even on zealot. =/
