Sony did say Sackboy plushes are definitely on the way, I think they'd be better for promotional bonuses like this instead of selling them at retail, but who knows.
"How is it that the preorder works, cause I dont live in the USA, so I normally import them. But my importer can get special editions anyway. Are they going to come as a special edition bonus or as a redeemable code for those who preodered?"
Not sure, the pre-order bonuses will be split up among different retailers I think, so it could be different for each one. But we won't know until Sony goes into more detail about where and when, all will probably be told when they unveil the rest of the bonuses soon.
(EDIT: I can now confirm that GameStop has the exclusive Kratos costume download, I just pre-ordered the game there where they had a sign advertising it. :D)

The Naruto and PixelJunk Eden are the two demos I have now, and are probably the best samplings I've ever tried for a game. Definitely picking up Naruto when it comes out, now if only I could find a PSN card to buy PixelJunk Eden.
So, as someone going to get Resistance 2 this Holiday, is the first game still viable? I mean certainly single-player as I'll get to know the story, but what about outside of it?
Exactly, they did get payed, and that is all I am saying. And I don't care if you believe me or not all I said was it is fact that MS confronted them with a deal, an offering, in a very short time period (which is why even SE has no clue what is going to happen), and they made a deal. I know that from someone who is inside the industry (laugh all you want, I couldn't care less), and he has never been wrong about anything with me in the past two years +.
Not only that, but just the way SE is talking about it shows, I mean, they even said "We're making the PS3 version first, and then porting to the 360 later.... I'm telling [the development team] to not think about the Xbox 360 right now. We can think about it after the development kits arrive... Right now, we're fully concentrating on the PS3 version."
Just goes to show that it was not in for dedication to that platform. Oh yeah, and it also goes to show how much MS and SE care about gamers, with the fact that they will be holding the SP3 version back, even though it is 100% ready, just in order for them both to launch simultaneously. If that isn't bullshit, I don't know what is. "
Don't go off on me, but my theory is that Microsoft approached Square with an ultimatum, where they subtly hinted saying support us with your big titles, or they wouldn't guarantee Squares games already near completion a release on their console. Sounds crazy, but the way Square talks about the Final Fantasy XIII development, it sounds not so appealing to them.
Really, why else would Square commit to a simultaneous release on Final Fantasy XIII on both platforms, but not for The Last Remnant? Or when Square gets asked why they're promoting Star Ocean on 360 only, but not as an exclusive, and not announcing a PS3 version, what the hell is up with that? Something is majorly up between Square and Microsoft.

Obviously it's just a guideline, I doubt they're treating it as holy doctrine when it comes to putting games in the program. They want there first party games to stay full priced as long as possible, obviously other countries got them sooner, probably because games are real expensive so having low price points for software helps a lot, but I expect lots more to be budget priced by the end of the year.
