My top 10 games of 2011

Here's my top 10 games of 2011, with the caveat that I haven't played a few games that might have made the list if I had (Resistance 3, Saints Row 3, etc.) Battlefield 3 isn't on this list because I've only played about 45 minutes of the game (both single and multi-player)...I bought it, then got sidetracked immediately.

List items

  • So far I've put in 30 plus hours and haven't even scratched the surface yet.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • I don't think it hit everything perfectly (why was Batman such a dick to Alfred?), but the game was a hell of a lot of fun to play.

  • I love love love this series. I can't wait to see what they do next with the franchise.

  • I wanted to love this more than I did, but sadly I'm getting a little franchise fatigue at the moment.

  • I thought the single player was okay, but I'm really enjoying the multi-player. I've played more than 10 hours of multi-player so far, which is about 9.5 hours more than I put in to any previous CoD multi-player.

  • One of my favorite franchises. I hope Ubisoft can find a way to keep it fresh though, as this hit my limit of what I can take from this series.

  • I was a little disappointed with this game, but again I think that comes down to franchise fatigue. In reality, I think I'm just getting tired of this generation of console games.

  • A much more refined game over the original. I can't wait to see what the developer has in store next.

  • This felt like it was made for me. The interrogation and clue finding mechanics were perfect for me. It was a shame that the over world felt unnecessary.
