As someone who played through Life is strange, I think that reasoning of cutting it made sense. That game was pure story, sure they're were puzzles but that's not why you were there. I was thought the game was at least top 10...until I played episode 5. A long drawn out weird flashback/stealth sequence, and the ending, basically moved it off my personal top 10. If you left it off at 4, it would of been stronger.
