Great experiece that lacks replay value. 0

When I first heard about this game a couple years back, I was skeptical to say the least. A game where all you do is hunt down the bosses, or Colossi as they called them, sound like it would get old pretty fast. Once I played the game, that was really all that there was to it. There was you, your horse, and sixteen big bad colossi to hunt down. The thing that really surprised me was how much I liked it. In this game you play as Wander a young man trying to save his friend Mono from dying. He ma...

Hands down one of the best kart racers ever released. 1

In 1999, Sony decided to release a game to rival the success of what ws the Mario Kart franchise. The task fell into the hands of Naughty Dog, who delivered unto us the Master Piece known as Crash Team Racing. Not only did this game prove to be a better racer than Mario Kart, it still remains the single best kart racer ever. Similar to the Mario Kart franchise, this game put more emphasis on creative tracks and over-the-top racing. While some may feel it was a mere clone of Mario Kart, CTR actu...

One of the most underrated Platformers ever. 0

Psychonauts has spawned an infamous legacy over the years. Psychonauts has become known as the good game that sold like crap. That's basically the best was to describe it. Psychonauts was a good game that sold like crap and it's a shame. After playing through this game, I can say that Tim Shaffer is a genius. The amount of creativity and humor in this game is astounding. It plays like an old school Platforming game from the PS1/N64 days. You play as Raz, a young psychic in training who ran away...

Ratchet & Clank's first venture to the PSP is rather hit or miss. 0

Ratchet & Clank's first venture to the PSP isn't quite the enjoyable experience of it's console counterparts. Not to say that this game is bad, but it plays more like a waterer down version of the PS2 Ratchet & Clank games. The campaign is short, the controls are poorly implemented on the PSP, and camera is insanely bad, On the postive side however, it still maintains the spirit of it's console counterparts, with a lighthearted, humorous story, fun minigames, and upgradable weapons. The...

Extremely Short length pleagues this otherwise awesome game. 0

Really at this point I feel like I'm beating a dead horse. What can I say about a God of War game that hasn't been said before? Similar to the Daxter game, Ready At Dawn has made another perfect transition from the PS2 to a PSP. Really, nothing is lost in the transition at all. You still have the epic boss fights, stunning graphics, and a pissed of Sparton. The game plays and feels a lot like the PS2 God of War Games. There is a slightly new control scheme however, but, believe it or not, the ...

A good star to a terrific franchise. 0

As a fan of both Final Fantasy games and Disney Films, this game was simply made for me. The gameplay for the Kingdom Hearts can be hit or miss at times. It is not highly immersive, and for some, you may end up resorting only to mashing the X button. The AI The summons are for the most part useless (although Tinker Bell can be a life saver during certain boss fights). The magic is well balance and early on, are pretty beneficial. After making it to the second half, you'll mainly be using cure ...

Best of the series thus far 0

Back in 2002, a revolutionary video game came out to the Sony Playstation. A game that not many gamers had high expectations for. A game that saw the unlikely combination of Disney and Square Enix. A game that is know one of PS2's top ten selling games ever. This is the games sequel. Kingdom Hearts 2 has certainly lived up to the hype it has been getting as of late. It takes every element from the original game and improves on it two-fold. Though the gaming experience isn't quite as challenging ...

One of the best Final Fantasy Spinoffs released to date. 0

In 1997, Squaresoft took the world by storm with the release of Final Fantasy VII. It was the first Final Fantasy game to achieve wide spread popularity. It's success was outstanding, selling close to 10 million copies, and it still remains the best selling Final Fantasy game. Due to its popularity, Square Enix responded by creating the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII; a series of prequels and sequels to the game that made them a world wide phenomena. For the most part, each new title was fairl...
