I've been listening to the Steve Jobs autobiography the past couple weeks, and one thing that sticks out is his belief about not giving the customer what they think they want, but what they didn't know they wanted.
Don't just admit your audio sucks... Some of us pay you. There are no excuses when you release this shallow level of content because it represents you all as a crappy company. Shame.

This might have been my favorite segment yet. It was a really strong year for games and an incredibly strong year for gaming music!
Now, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the theme for "The Farm" from Destiny 2. Clearly the game was never going to hang in this discussion hearing how passionate people were for the top contenders, but I feel like this track is so much better than it has any right to be for a looter shooter. Also, I think anyone who forgot about this theme can be forgiven since none of us have had a reason to go back to the Farm in months.

Also it's a shame that the track Abby is thinking of (from the Savathun's Song strike) isn't even included on the OST. I really dig the techno stuff they made for the Hive and I find it to be sorely underrepresented on the soundtrack.
For everyone asking why Destiny 2 isn't here, look at it this way. The staff had enough people actively invested in the game for enough time that they had a team of six run the Raid. Contrast that with how the first game went over where most of the staff actively disliked the game, and only a couple people stuck long enough to do a Raid.
I can appreciate Destiny 2 might be disappointing to a lot of us...I certainly have my own issues with the game...but I feel like for this group of people on this website, I'm not the least bit shocked that it doesn't get mentioned.
@dotdissent: thanks for the heads up. Couldn't sleep so was watching this with my wife sleeping in the next room. Had I not turned it down I'd be in a world of hurt right now.
Take a character who is capable of running up to someone from a distance and being almost guaranteed to one shot kill them...and then turn them into a useless turtle.
