@selfconfessedcynic Oh that makes way more sense. And with that 2000 doesnt seem that ridiculous at all. And all my builds do pass over that 2000 armour value, so, phewf! I must have just misread it, kinda was skimming through it all because that thread is ridiculously long.

@Dark_Lord_Spam Yeah, I've read mostly the same. Vitality is better for conditions because from what we assume, Armour doesn't affect conditions. But armour counter's direct damage for obvious reasons.

So, I've been reading up on the Toughness vs Vitality thread on GW2Guru and someone said that 2000 toughness was gonna be mandatory for Competitive Spvp.

Now, I can't remember whether or not he was referring to specific class or not, I'm hoping that's what it was because some of my builds don't even come close.

In two of my builds, I have under 1000 toughness, (Power Mesmer and Condition Engineer) While my condition Ranger is just under 2000 Toughness. Which makes me think that you either can't have a general number for everyone, or it needs to be lower than that.

So basically, I'm just wondering what people's opinions are about the must have Toughness rating, either for each profession itself, or as general number for every profession?

Hey, I would really love to join the guild, I've played GW1 a little bit when it originally came out, but stopped playing for a bit, then got into wow.

So i have a decent amount of MMO experience, even though this game does do a lot of cool new original stuff so it doesnt really matter...

Also, I've been listening to the lincolncast and have been loving it! So, yeah, Would love it if i could join.
