Consider this: for $300, you could play for 16 to 19 months ($50 game plus varying subscription prices). Do you REALLY plan on playing Star Trek Online for 16 to 19 months or more? Have you ever played any MMO for that long? I guess if your answer to either of these, particularly the first one, is "yes", then the $300 lifetime subscription is a good deal. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere!
