So, Giant Bomb has officially exploded (YEAH I went there!), and here we all are like Darwinian organisms floating in its atmosphere. I like it here. I like that it's centered around an information-by-everyone concept as open source information is essentially the way of the future, and it's rather poignant considering the nature of Gerstmanngate and the attempts of Gamespot to buckle down on a freedom of opinion.

I would encourage everyone to try and keep their musings as civil as possible, as we have that rare chance in the world of the online gaming community: a fresh start. So many gaming websites came along around the same time all those years ago, and established themselves as major players in the gaming world. Since then we've yet to see a site properly rise to that echelon and Giantbomb has got that capacity. It's not just a site, but a project. Hopefully we can all help keep this project going and help it improve step by step.

So please RSS the fuck out of me in anticipation.
