@loungemonkey: the politics crept into gaming strong this last year. the wolfenstein thread was a prime example of that. Every gaming thread spun into a political debate by about 4-5 pages in.
But politics in video games exists. Fuck, Wolfenstein is all about that and they are taking the current political climate to heart in their ads.
The problem I had with gaf was the bullshit moderation, but also the importance of off topic and politics. I go there for games, to discuss a fun hobby. That became the sidecar to all the other heated discussions taking place. I want to see it come back but to be focused on video games only. I don't go to giant bomb to find out the crews opinions on left wing right wing nonsense.
No one was making you go to Off-Topic and politics in video games and their creators exist, so why ignore all of that?
@rpgcrazied: You may not actually be banned, it sent me a DM saying my account was suspended but that was an error on their part because of the huge influx of people.
