To trade or not to trade? (New 360 console)

So folks, I'm kind of stuck in a rut, and I would like to get the opinion of my fellow gamers. Let me start at the start by saying a couple of months ago, my PS3 started acting up with the whole Dragon Age Origins mess up with the 3.30 firmware update. My PS3 repeatedly kept freezing up on me and I think it did it so much that it messed up the system since I got this error about the hard disk being corrupted and having to reboot or reload the OS... I THINK thats what it said, but either way you get the point I hope.

Since then, I have gotten back into my Xbox 360 and I'm really loving it. Hell, the one of the few valid reasons why I got the PS3 was because the online was free and I got tired of dishing out money every few months to renew my membership, but now I am hearing rumblings of that changing for Sony as if. Moving along, I was watching E3 yesterday and guess what? They announced they are coming out with a new 360 so quickly I thought about trading in my PS3 to go towards the new 360. Of course, I was going to do some research first and this is what I have discovered, and most of this, you guys may already know, but I am simply putting out all the info. I have gathered so we are all on the same page:

At GameStop, because of their $20-$25 deal, if I trade in my PS3 & old xbox360, I am looking at:
$145-$150 for the 80 Gig fat PS3
$60-$80 for the old xbox360.

On top of this, I have 9 games, (FF13, Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock 2, Assassins creed 2, Disgaea 3, Super Street Fighter 4, and the few others I forgot) and I am positive that total, that would be more than enough to pay for the system.

Now then, I DO have Blue Ray movies, all of which I love, but the cheapest one I could get is $150 dollars IF I don't want to get rid of those movies, and I am sure I'll be getting a PS3 later on once I have a steady job (Or a job to begin with).

So aside from the obvious of if I should do the trade, is there any other tid bit of information I might be missing that could possibly warrant keeping my PS3?
