Cant believe drew never listened to those tapes.. theres big story stuff in those. Those tapes are basically cutscene material essential to understanding the background of this whole thing.
Every episode I see the number of tapes drew hasn't listened to and I cry a little. Those tapes are part of the story and listening to a couple after every mission adds in the understanding of why you are doing this and who you are trying to stop.I hope that they do an episode where they listen to some tapes and do a couple of side ops as well. I know Drew said that he doesn't like doing side stuff but I do think he needs to do a couple more side ops. Maybe do side episodes where its just side ops and tapes? I somehow want to compare this to a jrpg such as Persona 4...you level up your social links and go do different activities with the characters, you go into tv world and fight through the dungeons ,get to the boss and realize that its game over because chie and charlie arent leveled up properly so what do you do? You fight more monsters and stay longer in the dungeon before tackling the big boss monster and continue the story! I can also understand that doing side ops might be too boring for the audience that watches this series and maybe this game doesnt fit well into this type of feature.
Just trying to point out my frustrations and my advice just like everyone else.
When I did the quiet mission I had already done about 15 side ops and had not received d-dog yet. It's so interesting that the enemy soldiers talk about a sniper woman with no clothes and then you try to do a side op and this mission pops up. Its really one of the best missions of the game.
