My older step-brother brought his mega-drive to our house around the early 90's, probably 1991-ish. I remember loving a game that was 1 vs 1 space ship battles. Each ship, of which there probably 8 to choose from, had its own stats and a special weapon. My brother always played as a large red coloured ship that looked like an ocotopus or something and fired little limpet mines that stuck to your ship and slowed your speed etc. I always chose a little green ship whose special move made it teleport around the screen (seemingly at random).
Needless to say my brother owned me every match.
Any help would be awesome, hope I have remembered the sparse details correctly.
I don't see any problem with leashing a kid. I was a 'leash kid' because I was a little bugger for running off and also falling over (pigeon toed). Apparently my dad stopped me from hitting the deck many times with the leash, Mission Impossible style
DS9 is a close second to TNG. The general consensus here is spot on; once you get over the early establishment of characters, relationships and setting the show really makes good use of being set in a (mostly) single location.
I'm looking to sell my turnips asap as my town appears to be in the middle of a double dip recession. Anyone have their town open? I have peaches, lychees, mangoes, coconuts and pears. Or at least I will when the next batch grow.
Definitely get a day in Kyoto, whilst you're there check out Nijo castle and try get to Gion by early evening to see the Geishas going to work.
If you have some spare time in Osaka have a stroll down Shinsaibashi, its easy to get to and offers loads of places to buy gifts for people and experience the city. Maybe visit the Taito arcade there and play some jubeat?
I remember hearing Card say they were going to combine Enders Game and Shadow of Ender in to the movie so there a bit more back and forth between Ender and Bean rather than weird inner monologues from Ender about how he's being treated etc.
It would be much more impactful to have the battle schoolers the age they are in the books but I can't see them getting ten year olds that can act well enough....to be honest they probably can't find teens that can either.
Regardless i'm well excited for this. I think Ford as Hyrum Graff is a great casting too.
