Some older games here. This is because I have started a new Xbox LIVE profile...

List items

  • Still an incredible game, may not have aged that well but still quite the experience.

  • Whilst I love ME, I think people that claim that in this day and age ME2 is inferior to the first game have a wrong brain!

  • Thanks for the epic ride Bioware. I was satisfied with the ending (although I count the entire game as the ending) But the actual ending I got really fit with "what MY Shepard would do" so I was happy.

  • If you want to talk about bad endings, Skyrim didn't even have one, very dissatisfied with this title. The Bethesda formula is wearing a bit thin for me now.

  • Re-played this due to my new profile. Didn't bother with Normal this time, played in Hard (none too difficult, and a better overall experience).

I also did all the DLC, still don't really understand the crazy Finnish plot :S

Best soundtrack of any game ever?

  • A fine example of what an XBLA title can be, high production values, semi continuation of the AW lore and of course a stellar soundtrack once again.

    Fingers crossed for AW2!

  • Personally I loved this game, I am a huge fan of Richard Morgan and whilst he was not totaly given freedom to write a killer story, it was decent enough.

Add to that, the co-op is fantastic...

  • Really enjoyed this, as a semi fan of the series I had no issues with the "streamlining" of the mechanics. In fact the "execute" element made me feel more like a kick ass spy than the other SC titles...

  • Overall this game was a bit of a drag but I am glad that I played it to completion. The section at the end in the old Soviet missle base and night vision made me think these guys could produce a good Aliens game, given the chance.

  • Incredible game, one my top games from the period it came out. Need to get onto the DLC...

  • Found this game a bit of a slog, but I have enjoyed my time with the franchise overall...

  • Not a huge fan of TinTin, but having heard fairly good reviews of the game and the fact it was similar (in a fashion) to Flashback, I took the plunge at 13 quid and I was not disspointed, nothing too special but a fairly solid old skool platform adventure.

  • Possibly my most played game of the year (or in the period since its release) Obviously can't really complete a FIFA, but I have played it more completely than any previous iteration and still play online everyday.

Keep coming so close to Division 4 grrr

  • Good story, slightly ropey combat. Played it in hard which was a breeze until the difficulty spiked for the last couple of hours.

I would actually rate it below Godfather 2, mainly as, despite its namesake, it never really captured the feeling of progression through a Mafia family that Godfather 2 did so well.

  • Super short and super easy (barring a couple of tricky boss fights) played on the hardest mode available for a first playthrough.

Aside from that, I thouroughly enjoyed it. Great cast, great voice acting and fantastic combat. Gears of War meets Mass Effect. Would love a sequel but not sure it will happen bearing in mind Sega's woes...

  • After a long break from finishing the first Dead Space I finally completed this fantastic sequel. Visceral did a great job.

The ending was somewhat beautiful, Isaac slumping to the floor, resigned to his fate, the credits appear on screen, the facility exploding quietly in the background and then some sublime music begins to play over the whole scene.

  • (INCOMPLETE) Tried to complete this game but personally found it overrated and repetitive. Think I am putting it to rest :(

  • (INCOMPLETE) Somehow my progress got overwritten, I blame the crappy UI/presentation of the title, did not feel inclined to slog through again.

Overall opinions: I appreciate what Bungee intended with ODST, but releasing it as a full priced title (on disc no less) stinks of a big rip off to me.

I quite liked what they attempted with the narrative structure, but the gameplay (and graphics - did Halo 3 look this bad?!) are like a bad 90's FPS.

  • (INCOMPLETE) I am afraid that I succumbed to boredom with this game and could not bring myself to finish it.

I did not hate it, it just did not grab me and pull me in.

Top notch production values however and a GREAT voice cast.
