@matoya: Yikes. Hope I have a better time with it than you seem to be having. Keep at it! Show them who's boss!!
To be honest, I think I'm not gonna bother finishing it. The stages themselves on the last act are almost 10 minutes long each, and that's not counting bosses.
It's just kinda boring to keep going through, only to lose to a ridic last boss.
You get 9 rings to do a 7 stage boss. Admittedly, each phase is pretty short, but you're expected to do so much without ANY mistakes.
I got to a part where I was phased into a mini boss fight, I got hit, dropped my ONE ring, and before I could pick it up, I was transferred back to the main fight, where I was instantly hit and died.
@matoya: Not just you. The last level is brutal. The first time I did it, I ran out of time on the first act. The second time I got to the last boss, died and was too frustrated to go back and finish it.
That's kind of where I'm at. I had a go this morning, got to the boss of Act 1 with 3 lives, couldn't beat it, and kinda rage quit.
I don't think I'll finish SM because I hate the last stage so much
I'm at this part as well and boy, am I ready to put my fist directly through my television. The game is definitely tough and tough in a way I enjoy until this. It's frustrating because you don't feel in control at all. I'm sure there's a way to breakdown exactly how to precisely control your movements with these stupid purple orbs but I can't for the life of me figure it out. I'm just flailing around hoping to get a good jump off of them.
I must have spent 3/4 minutes on just ONE section where you have to circle around those large purple orbs and launch yourself off them. I THINK you control your movement by simply pressing left and right? I at least THINK that's the right way to do it.
I still haven't beaten TMZ btw. I'm gonna make a push today/tomorrow to see if I can finally finish the game. I'd hate to give up on a game on the last stage, but if I have to...
