"2 reasons for that:One, I'm crazy. Two, invisible walls is the only thing mentioned so far that is an element in every video game ever. (There's a good point booster right there, but I'm not gonna do it.)"
Well, Invisiblewalls.net isn't taken...
I went to some other sites who say that No Respawn is good too. I'm torn between the two...
Thing is, I'm not a PC gamer. Actually, I don't even know if I'd be able to write about PC news for the site. I wouldn't mind PC gaming, but all the PC's in my house can run any game well at all.
Once again, it didn't matter what this site was going to be called. Gerstmann writes for it, so it instantly has a great reader base.
I'm a newbie journalist, so a video game referenced name would be fit. Maybe once I become a respected journalist and start my own site I will name is something non- video game related. But until then, I'm still just a noob.
""It shouldn't have 'game' in the title" is one of the wisest things Jeff Gerstmann ever said! (And dude, how could your own name not be in your own spelling checker?)"
I don't want "game" in the title. I want something that makes a reference to video games.
I know Giant Bomb doesn't really make a reference to video games, but that's because they didn't need too. As soon as people heard Jeff Gerstmann was starting a new site, a reader base was instantly built up. It would never of matter what the name was, as long as Gerstmann was writing for the site.
