There are blow-up-able walls and you can't even tell which they are?!?!

(I'm playing this for the first time to any serious degree on my new NES Classic.. Boy, it's hard! I've done one dungeon.)

It seems very easy to die, and can I even kill the helicopter bee things? Doesn't seem like it.

So it's worth $3.99 on PSN? Can I play it in chunks easily (i.e. remember what I was doing when I come back)? like an hour or two at a time, to do missions once in a while?

What positive comes from not washing regularly?

(I came to look for reviews after hearing Jeff rave about it in VR on DLC.)

The game is free on PSN this month. It seems to me like "My First Adventure Game".

I'm actually NOT someone who really cares about graphics quality (I think old 1980s arcade games are often more fun), but it's funny that Alex says that's one of the good things about this game. It all seems very bad cartoony.

Still, for a free game, I'll probably go through at least a bunch more levels. I like something I can play a little while at a time and make some progress.

Funny thing is, this game is awesome, but Demon's Souls (the only one of those I've gotten) is punishingly annoying.

It's $1.19 on PSN this week. I'm pretty sure this is the series the guy on the Point Streak podcast mentions all the time. Even for $1.19, I think I'll pass, even though it sounds somewhat interesting -- the long times between saves is a bad thing. (I have far too many games I haven't already played, but I'd LIKE more games I can play for a short while. Rogue Legacy seems like the perfect one for that for me. I can play a few lives, hopefully make some progress, and stop.)
