Wow. I know I finished the game, and started NG+.. I don't know how far I got.. But I read the shacknews article about RL 2, so went back and read the RL one (https://www.shacknews.com/article/85594/chatty-qa-rogue-legacy-with-cellar-door-games-teddy-lee).

I was intrigued by "the differences get a little too extreme in NG+ and onwards", but this thread answers what he's referring to.

Then I've probably already heard of the ones you'll mention, but I'll still ask..

What other Playstation games like Rogue Legacy are there? I guess I *liked* the scaling of it.. it seemed to me that it seemed impossible but you got better little by little, but it didn't seem to me like grinding.. (I'm finally starting to play the Witcher for example, and there seems like tons of grinding.. to find herbs and such, and repair your weapons, etc..)

Is it really only PC? or is that just the default selection here?

I too bought it dirt cheap on PSN.. can't find the purchase easily, but it was under $5 I'm almost positive, and was one of my best cheap/enjoyment games (even better than "free" PS+ games, which would effectively be infinitely valuable, since they're free beyond the subscription price).

I hope it comes to Playstation.

Just wanted to point it out. Looked at the new sale, and this was one of the first that looked intriguing, so I came here to check out what people said about it.

(I already own far too many games I haven't played.. but for a buck?)

But in The Witness, you get stuck at some point and can't progress any farther. I have The Witness because it was free on PS+. I solved a bunch of puzzles.. then get stuck.. and.. am stuck.. I walk around and can't find more puzzles that I can solve.

I haven't played this game, but am listening to them talk about it on DGC.

There's a bunch of other things on sale, but this is the only one that vaguely interests me.

Giant Bomb's page says 0 releases, but it's available on the iOS app store..

(Cardinal Quest I is not available in my region though???)

(I just listened to the August 11, 2015 episode of Giant Bomb Presents about Roguelikes.. and Rogue Legacy is one of my favorite games. Ularn is the only one of the true roguelikes I played to any extent.)

Have never heard of it, looked here while listening to a question calling this a better "rolling game" than Katamari Damacy.

Has anybody actually played this?
