Just woke up.  Gotta get the place straightened up, make a couple errand runs, go get the keg, and we're ready to go.  I'm buying 15 gallons of beer.  And some Jaeger, Vodka, and Tequila.  Should be good . . . I'll let you know tomorrow after church hahahaha

This is going to be the death of me

I'll admit, I love the GB crew.  I dig the site.  I dig what the Whiskey Top Men are always coming up with.  The great Wiki/point system, the adding of images, the top-of-the-web original video content, the best podcast 'round these parts of the innuhnet, the pretty intelligent community we got here, the trivia, the lists, the PSN trophy graphing we get . . . owait . . .
 
Now they go and throw in this awesome Questing thing.  I'm hosed.  Screwed.  It's like virtual crack, which can only be compared to Diablo II's crack system... 
 
So in a way, I guess I'll say thank you and screw you GB/Whiskey.  You've made your site even more awesome than before, but you've also made a sinkhole, like youtube when it first started showing its muscle; like Lifehacker when they round up their top 10 lists of the year; like Woot during a wootoff; like the constant drip of news we get during E3; like when the 2nd OT for college football rolls around in the Rose Bowl . . . 
 
Now just gimme my movie site.  Then you can have my firstborn in payment.

don't know if the other users are going to help in the BoB project, contact for their status. 
take it ep by ep?  month by month?  look to knock out 1 ep/week as a rough start. - ideally, move it up to at least two, optimum of 4.   
look to use some type of cut/edit sound (check out the mic bump vinny used before the actual recording started maybe?) interspersed amoung the clips.  backtobacktoback just doesn't sound kosher.

So It's My Birthday

And here we are, 1 year later . . .  

Wow, talk about change.  Gone are the trappings of yearning for every new game coming out on the shelves (granted, theres not much coming out this year, but humor me) to be played for hours on end.  No more are the constant pangings for a controller to be in my hands every waking moment.    

No, I wasn't addicted to games or anything.  Just a different perspective.    

Games to me nowadays are a form of escape.  No more working college student going about normal working college student daily rites, instead I'm a dashing adventurer with a wicked half-tuck voiced none other than Nolan North.  I'm a warrior seeking only to vanquish those foolish enough to dare cross my path.  I'm a general commanding my forces with a confidant trepidation, knowing full well the cost of each loss on the battlefield. 
 
The past year has brought some change, that much is true. 
Sorry for bringing up an old topic, making you read idyllic ramblings of a bored youth. 
 
Now give me cake you fools.  More of it.

On Sunday, the 25th.  A year older, big deal and all, woopie doo, but the worst part about my birthday . . . 
 
I must refrain from buying pretty much anything for myself a month before.  So I have to hold out on walking into Target and picking up copies of Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, Borderlands, etc.   It's pretty much horrible, because every year at this time, game upon game starts to come out, and typically of some quality.   But patience does pay off.  School is in full swing, midterms are almost over, and after that, it's a slight breath before the cycle begins again.  Hooray! 
 
BTW, National Geographic came in today . . . article showing the mummification of the pets of the Pharaohs . . . outstanding.  You can see the nose tissue of baboons and dogs.  You almost expect them to shake the dust off and go about their business.  Those guys really knew what they were doing.

So it looks like the boys have done gone and laid their thing on the table and launched this here site on the interweb.  Thats nice and all, but I was able to get my name.  Which is my name.  Which is totally awesome, because there are no x's or numbers or _ in it.  Which is totally awesome.

Just like this here site.  Although I do probably wish for a lighter background, but thats just me being nitpicky. 

Thanks whole bunches guys!  Here's to a great site!
