It isn't a game... well screw you it is to me!

I've come to the conclusion I'd be thinner and healthier if my mother bothered to play her WiiFit; this shocking statement is in the light of the fact I couldn't let my mothers abysmal times and distances on her exercise bike so I had to go and put one up better than her... less than thirty minutes later I've cycled 12 kilometres (when hers was a smidgen over 2 Kilometres in twice the time).
I guess I should turn my competitiveness to my advantage I do at work timing myself and doing time trials (yes I sound like such a dork) so I guess todays question are there little things that aren't games that end up becoming one for yourself?

Love games?

I've been thinking, with Fable III being tactile and building on relationships between co-op partners it struck me; what happens when the two players veer off onto a love story?
Will Fable III's plot impinge? Will it leave us free to roam? How long and what is there to break our supsension of disbelief?
How immersive will it be? Would I be waylayed in forging a weapon as a gift for my in-game fiancee, or picking flowers to give them or going for walks and slaying balverines?
RPGs are rife with love subplots and romance side-quests (Mass effect made a big build up then bamn about 5 secs of blue buttock that was terribly arkward), gaining girlfriends in Persona 4 (someone i know playing their 3rd playthrough to get all all the romances) and Dragon Age (which I loved for including LGBT but loathed the characters...)

Called it a Day...

Sometimes work is great you know that "I have a purpose and a wage enabling me to live my chosen lifestyle", but as much as I love my job sometimes I need a break so I did that.
Grabbed the diary a scientist and a pen filled in a form and walked out halfway through the day; and do you know what I did? I bought The Sims 2 (what with the excitement of no.3 coming to 360) partly out of nostalgia; the Original Sims along with BF1942 got me into PC gaming back which has lasted from my days of Pay per minute 56K dial-up to nowadays broadband hell I love my rickety PC as much as my consoles tech has really pushed on in 5 years leaving it behind meaning I'm playing yester-years AAA titles.

So here's a question do you remember the games that got you hooked onto gaming (I blame watching my big bro playing on his Amiga when I was an ankle biter) and is there one game your sentimentally attached to?
