2011 - Disappointments

These games disappointed me for various reasons that I'll go into below.

List items

  • Unfortunately this carried over from last year's list. This game finally came out in September, without the HD upgraded visuals. The online play was terrible (now much better) and the sound errors are all throughout it. This could have been SOOO much better but it was messed up and sadly WB won't take another chance at improving these games anytime soon.

  • Loved DN3D, which made me want to play this, but overall very disappointed in the way it came out. It really felt like it was a game made 15 years ago, and finally released now. I hope that Gearbox can pull off a proper well made Duke Nukem game now that they own the license, but will people give it a shot after this flop?

  • I wanted to like this game, but I wanted a game that was an extension of the "Old Republic" series. But I've heard nothing about it other than it's simply an MMO in a Star Wars universe. I'll pass thank you.

  • This game felt like a complete rip off to me after I bought it. It felt incomplete, buggy and just missing a bunch of features. It could have been so much better, if they had cared more about putting out a quality product when it was ready.

  • So clearly Capcom must have agreed with me, not seven months after Marvel vs Capcom 3 came out does ULTIMATE Marvel vs Capcom 3 come out. It adds a bunch of stuff, and characters, that the first game didn't have, but should have on day one. I can see this coming out a year or more after the first game, but the fact that this came out less than seven months later is kinda shitty for us who bought the first one. Maybe I'll pick it up for $5 once it hits the bargain bins.
