That should be fine as well, worst thing that could happen there is you would have to re-download it, which it will do automatically when you start it up if it needs to.
You don't lose anything you just can't access it offline. If you are signed in online with the same profile you originally downloaded them with you have nothing to worry about, it should all work fine.
You can put your HDD on any 360 you like but if you are not signed into live all of your DLC will not work. Meaning arcade games will revert to trials, movies and tv shows will be unwatchable. If you have downloaded game content you will not be able access it, be careful about this part I accidently corrupted an Oblivion save this way.
"why do people consider an online game "dead" if its not one of the top 10 or so games? tf2 (on 360) is pretty unpopular compared to most games, but its still possible to get into an active game (6v6 or higher) at any time of the day."
Who are these 'people' you refer to and why in the world are listening to them?
Okay so lets say theoretically there are racist motivations at work here, what purpose does this thread serve? Does anybody actually feel that we live in a world free of racism? Calling out a symptom doesn't do anything to prevent a disease. Honestly the examples being represented here are pretty benign stuff when compared to things that are constantly going on in all forms of media. In my personal opinion the lack of a brown avatar or the killing of black zombies in a continent that is predominantly black isn't nearly as harmful as the stereotypes that are promoted in say the 50 Cent games, or many military shooters that demonize all sorts of foreign peoples. Even then when it comes to the issue of racism there are much bigger fish to fry, and while it is important to be aware of things that might subliminally desensitize you to it, sometimes a game is just a game.
