People knew this game was a stinker with the initial response and then the huge delay to "try and make it fun" but the kicker was the slapped together Slippy game that was bolted on last minute to justify the $60 dollar ask.
Not surprising news since the NX is coming out this holiday season but its good to see that all the ducks are lining up in a row. Let's all hope NX is not a dud like the WiiU was a flop.
The revision model is fine as long as game titles and other content can still run on the older console models. The upgrade path should hopefully function similar to how on PC there is a recommend spec and then a higher spec. Technology is moving to fast and there is too much competition now to wait around 5 or more years like to good o'days for an update.
Rising Thunder will most likely morph from using rather unknown fighter characters into using League of Legends characters as the roster, which, will make the game arguably more appealing while adding a varied portfolio for Riot.
Just got to the part about lending digital games I believe PS4 Share Play might help you guys out. Its's not 100% lending but pretty close and if you really want 100% lending you could try the Steam family share thing.
$600 is high and not to mention the PC/upgrades needed to run it. However, the huge 600 pound gorilla is the lack luster line up or apt to promote any killer must have experiences and or day 1 titles on the site. Everything content wise still seems up in the air by now there should be a release schedule at least for the launch month. On its face it looks like only 2 things are ready at launch. One would think with all the pervious talk Oculus did about how other companies doing VR wrong could give people a bad taste, which, in turn would have them turn away from VR altogether yet again. Having a mediocre or botched launch is positioning just for that hopefully things will become clearer soon and the other companies yet to announce will do a better job highlighting the content, eco-system, and price points from the start.
