I was surprised to find that the game was only 3 hours long after hearing people say it's like 6 hours long.
I was surprised too. I started it after work today, went to class, then finished it when I got home. My Steam played time is 3 hours. The byline of the Gamespot review said:
"Scott savored his first Firewatch play-through, completing the game in just over seven hours. He's since burned through again in just under five."
5 hours seems like a stretch, but 7 hours? I think you would have to be wandering in circles aimlessly to get 7 hours.
I too saw similar times so was shocked when I got the ending just over two hours in.
