Big Beach Sports has been in the UK charts for nigh on 3-4 weeks now. Why is this? The game sucks.
A while ago, a Quebecois friend of mine informed me that the equally terrible Backyard Hockey was the top selling DS game in Quebec. Quebecers love their hockey, and with EA forsaking (and continuing to forsake) the DS and Wii for the NHL games for so long, they grabbed all they could.
Big Beach Sports contains cricket, and this is a genius move on the part of HB Studios/THQ. It has tempted most Brits, and probably some Aussies to buy their awful game. It even had me considering it.
This is not a scream to EA... nor to Codemasters (as good as the Brian Lara series is). This is a call to Krome Studios Melbourne... aka Melbourne House/Beam Software... the call is opportunity and they need to answer.
GIVE US A NEW SUPER INTERNATIONAL CRICKET GAME ON WII!
This wonderous NES/SNES game needs to return, and these are the guys to do it. To Krome... Srsly guyz, plz.
