It's worth buying just to see the first boss.

it's not as good as the original game, but it's still better than most games available on the 360.

Fallout 3 is a decent game with a lot of overpriced DLC, so I'll throw my hat in the ring.

So far I'm the only person on GB with max points in Ninja Gaiden 2 and Street Fighter 4 :)

Games that focus heavily on story and characters (like Persona 4)  make for the best endurance runs IMO. Even though I finished P4 when it came out, I still watch every episode just to hear Jeff and Vinny's commentary on the various events in the game since it's usually hilarious. It's kinda like watching a TV show. So with that being said, I'd nominate Valkyria Chronicles. It might be a little too recent, and there's already a quick look, but it would still be a perfect fit. Or perhaps Yakuza (1 or 2). That would be another great fit, and it's a pretty niche game.

 I really don't see the point of an endurance run of multiplayer  games since there is no clear goal.
