The global temperature has changed more in the past century than the previous 5,000 years before 1900. No amount of "sloppy computer modelling" can change that basic fact.
Grow up. Stop trying to be a clever contrarian. The world isn't flat, vaccines aren't evil, and anthropogenic climate change is reality.
Is this a leftover from Austin's tenure, or is someone at GB still running the guest program?
Either way, fantastic writeup. I felt some these themes as they stand in Inquisition, especially on my Dalish elf playthrough, but it's always enlightening to see how they hit people who are much closer to their real-world analogs.
Solas is a difficult character - this may surprise people who haven't done a Dalish run, but he doesn't like Dalish Elves either. He sees them as a sort of degenerate bastard-children of the "Old" elves, the "Real" elves, and even if you befriend him he still essentially pulls that "You're one of the good ones" schtick (which, when combined with the potential romance option, can become extra creepy.)
The ending of the DLC strongly suggests that he's going to be the main antagonist of the next game, however, and I look forward to an opportunity to challenge him more directly. Hopefully they handle it well, since it seems like it'll focus around an Elf rebellion, and there are... lots of ways to handle that poorly, I think. Many people also think if will take place in Tevinter, where slavery is still fully practiced, and again: lots of ways to screw that up.
Nope nope nope. Beating a live animal, even a rat, is what a sociopath would enjoy. I think the developer made a huge mistake think they were edgy when they were showing something despicable. I hope everyone at Compulsion Games take a sit down and think about some aspects of what they have made.
Of all the things to be outraged about in games, or even at e3, you've chosen a weird place to draw the line. Literally any other game involving the killing or murder of another person is a better case for your argument.
Right? In the show that's like 70% about shooting people or some other kind of combat, this is the one thing that explicitly frames the violent act as a horrible nightmare.
