So i was playing spore today, with the creature Aurtrist on the planet Spermatid (inspired by my Genetics book). I was close to the civ stage when all of a sudden.
Out of nowhere i get a BSOD.

Now i know my Overclock didn't cause it, and the game didn't.
ITUNES 8 did, just look around on the net and you will find more than just myself have been afflicted with some shit code from apple....

So my computer decided to die this week. I diagnosed the problem last night. Both of my RAM modules died. So i order some new Corsair DDr2 800 RAM.

Let me make myself perfectly clear. I used to be Catholic. I am now a self declared atheist. With that said, you all now know my bias. Just recently on saw on Giant Bomb, in the Off-Topic board someone post the following thread/question:

Although let me say this, if you bring up the topic of God or Religion you should be prepared and be able to do the following:
a)present your belief and defend it logically
b)be able to respect others peoples views (this means you shouldn't assume you are correct)

Let's be honest, none of us know the answer to life's most important questions and trying to convert someone in any way without them wanting to is basically showing people that you're ignorant/arrogant. You are a hypocrite.

Well there's my tangent. I respect everyone's views, but please, tread lightly on the subject of God.

I may look into it on the pc, but really, we should have a question about who is waiting for Braid to arrive on the pc.

a little bit of TF2 and some other online games till STALKER Clear Sky comes out

So i got it! I can now run crysis at around 40-50fps on High-DX10 settings at 1680 by 1050. And CoD 4 i get 70-100FPs on average at all high at 1680 by 1050.
For some reason the driver install got fucked up though so i'm hoping that when ATi releases Cat 8.8 it will install correctly, then i should see an even higher performance boost.
Until then i plan on Overclocking it and my processor.

I was trying to decide when i would post this, but might as well do it now. So i will be ordering my ATI Hd4870 tomorrow along with my mother ordering a new laptop that i helped her pick out. In other news i already have a new job at Great Harvest bread store...$7.00 an hour starting (damn good for a 17 year old i might say). Oh and as a side note i'm reformatting my comp in preparation for my new ATI HD4870. (that and i did something stupid and just need to reformat to undo what i did...) Not much else to say....STALKER Clear Sky is the next game i'm buying....umm...school is starting soon and i'm gonna have a hell of a seinor year with 4 AP Classes, a Dual Credit Class, and Physcis (then i'm an aid for a teacher and i have a study hall!) So woot for having to budget school, friends(family)girlfriend, job, and apply for colleges and what not.

So i've worked at this local ice cream shop for a year, almost exactly a year. Currently my start and end dates look like the following: July 27th 2007-July 30th 2008. I put my two weeks notice in on July 27th 2008 and three days later i get fired. Oh well. He's cleaning house anyways. So with that news i'm going to pick up my last pay check tomorrow (all $350 of it) and put it in my bank. So with $130 in the bank, $350 coming, $50 in my wallet, another $125 coming for fixing some computers, and $20 from friends and family that owe me money i should be set to cover what few expenses a seinor in high school needs to cover and buy a new graphics card. ATI Hd4870 here i come!

My wishlist for this year is complete. I may add one or two games to it. Otherwise it's solid, except S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky isn't on GB yet so it's not on my wishlist. And just recently i bought the Battlefield WW2 Anthology because i was feeling reminiscent of one of my very first pc games i played. So i now have all of the BF1942 and Vietnam games. Now i just need to rebuy BF2 since i sold my copy to a friend.

Well first let me say that i absolutely adore GB. Having a website headed by veterans of GS is amazing and i've started migrating over and in doing so i put all my reviews on the site. Except my BF2 review is the wrong one, so unless you want to be confused, avoid it at all costs. Also i've noticed over the years my writing has improved so i hope to soon publish my Battlefield Bad Company Review on the site shortly. Until then, c ta
