Armageddon turns out better than expected. 0

I have to admit, I don't have a single gripe with this game. I was initially turned off by the lukewarm critical response, but seeing it in Best Buy for $15, I had to finally give it a try. That price caveat may have to be taken into consideration, since I didn't pay full price. Comparing it to Red Faction Guerrilla, this is more of a guided and linear experience compared to that former games' open world format. In all honesty I preferred this format over the open world one. Gatling Gears - Campaign Only Review 1

Gatling Gears is fun and addictive twin stick shooter that uses the top-down isometric view. I haven't had this much fun with a downloadable shooter since Super Stardust HD on PS3. The premise is simple, you drive a Mech with 3 weapon types; Gatling gun, missiles and grenades. The Gatling gun has infinite ammo while the missile and grenade ammo replenishes itself over time.   Like many others, I bought into the hype about this game. When I heard about a game where you have an entire dictionary of objects at your fingertips to use at your whim, I was instantly intrigued. It seems like such an interesting idea but the game ultimately fails in its execution. The first hour of the game is really an interesting experience that quickly dissolves into frustration. Objects you think would help you solve many of the puzzles, are unable to perform their real life counterpart...
