I originally had the signed GB podcast poster up on my wall for a really long time, then I came to move it and...well...pulled a Brad?
I was wondering if there will be more poster designs printed in the future with the option of staff sigs. I was smart enough to frame my Tested poster when that arrived (the dimensions were easier to purchase a frame for), so if another was on sale from Giantbomb I'd have the brains to do the same and eliminate any chance of accidental scrunching and/or slight tearing...which of course sucks.
I'm pretty sure theres other duders in the same situation or people who missed the original run that would like a poster, so I've decided to make a thread, if the information on this topic already exists somewhere else and I've totally blown past it I apologise, but I'd just like a heads up from staff as to if this will be happening in the near future!
Basically looks like the same game in different packaging, which will probably make for a more well rounded community for each release. MTG tends to have more serious fans (even though its accessible and easy enough to pick up and play). I think Hearthstone will attract people who are into Warcraft but burnt out on WoW and just want something to pass the time with... basically something to replace Peggle, Bejeweled or Puzzlequest, as nice as it looks I can't see this getting a huge TCG following like you'd find for something else.
@eskimo: So far 1999 mode was stated to include a cost to respawn, picking a path for your character (think Psi, Navy, Marines) and more emphasis on resource management which I'm assuming will include hacking to some degree.
Problem is that even if you add a cost to respawning, unless you limit saves people can still just reload instead of paying the fee... really hoping they don't fuck it up.
Bioshock 1/2 were both incredibly shallow games when compared to System Shock 2. I remember having a sinking feeling that started about 30 minutes into Bioshock when I realised that it was just a dressed up FPS. Everything I've seen so far makes me think that the next game will be more of the same.
I'm putting a lot of faith in 1999 mode for Infinite...sucks that you have to beat the game to unlock it from what I've read however. Supposed to make the game closer to SS2 in terms of difficulty.
