Welcome to 2017, where there are alot of RPGs that are literally only 10 hours long. Yea, the game isn't as good as the first, it was never supposed to be. Its a complete feeling of nostalgia with moderns systems and graphics. Also..the first game in 28 hours? That tells me you just skipped through all of the storyline they give you in forms of books, all the optional stuff and blew past most the dialogue. (btw I realize how old this post is but I didn't even know about Alter Code F until last week, I played Wild Arms when I was 6 years old, thanks to my dad watching me I pretty much could read at a high school level by the time I finished that game.)
