So many games, so little time...

About this time each year, right after E3, I go through my games collection and finish off the games I haven't beat. Or in Super Mario Galaxy's opinion, haven't even opened. I have a total of 47 Xbox 360 games, 9 Nintendo Wii games, 2 PSP games, and 11 Nintendo DS games. I have beaten a good chunk of them but their is always that game that after you start, you just can't bring yourself to go back and play it again. When you finally do go back to play it, your completely lost and have no idea even what the controls are. **Cough** Splinter Cell: Double Agent **Cough**

Today I began my quest to beat all my games, in order to make time for the new games coming out. Some of my all-time favorite games have sequels coming out this fall. Fable II and Animal Crossing: City Folk. These two games are easily my top two of all time. I spent hundreds of hours on Animal Crossing (GCN) as well as Animal Crossing: Wild World. As for Fable, I beat it about 6 times before I was finally done with it. I then went out and bought Fable: The Lost Chapters and went on to play it through once. Some other amazing looking games coming out are Fallout 3, Gears Of War 2 and EA Sports NHL 2009 this fall, as well as Resident Evil 5 Q1 2009. That pretty much explains why I want to get all these old games out of the way.

I started out playing Mario Kart and am currently making my way through 100cc. I have always loved Mario Kart but I find them far to easy now. I am 15-1 online and slaughter everyone. Makes me wonder if its a bunch of 5 year olds playing. Chances are with the Wii, it likely is. I also played Super Mario Strikers. I beat the second cup only to start the third cup 1-4, getting slaughtered each game. I then hit eject and played some Bioshock. I have already beaten it once but felt I didn't get the full experience. I am having a blast on the second play through, even more fun then the first if I remember correctly.

This weekend,  I am hoping to finish Mario Kart and Mario Strikers (Providing I can actually score a goal) as well as a good chunk of Bioshock. Some games I still need to beat are:
- Tiger Woods 2007
- WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Orange Box
- Splinter Cell: Double Agent
- Raymond Raving Rapids
- Excite Truck
- X-Men
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl

So yeah, I have a lot of work ahead of me. But with a little time I think it can be done...but I doubt it. Anyways wish me luck!
