He is a cavoodle, a mix of a king charles cavalier and a poodle.

The name instantly reminded me of my first dog (golden brown British Cocker Spaniel), also named Lucky. I'll always love him for the good times. Thanks for reminding me of those memories and of course happy birthday to your dog!
