@notnert427: I see people stating that the Xbox One library is so much better than the PS4...but what is this based on? While it seems like the current slate of Xbox One exclusives is better than PS4, I can't think of a single game that is a really huge mass-market appealing title. Halo might be that game, but currently there is only a remastered collection out. I think that the price drop mixed with bundles of very popular 3rd party games had far more to do with the holiday sales of the Xbox than its exclusives did. I for one am holding out for a sweet Halo 5 bundle at the end of the year! That is the game for me!
I think it's great that Microsoft has turned its sales around in NA. It will be interesting to see if they can take on the Sony stronghold of Europe.
@personandstuff: They won in the United States, but overall worldwide they are lagging far being Sony. So while things are looking up for them in the US they have their work cut out in the rest of the world.
@tuxfool: For sure, I understand that. I just think that their new style of coverage isn't any better. I can appreciate them trying to do that kind of stuff, but so far it all seems really disposable. However, if anyone can produce some interesting in-depth coverage it's Patrick. I'll certainly check out his stuff. I've really been enjoying reading USgamer. They do a great job of producing interesting features and longer form writing.
He will certainly be the best writer there! I'm surprised that some people seem to think that Kotaku has gotten better. So many of their post release articles seem to be fluff stuff like "Sex scenes of Dragon Age, Strange sex scenes in the Sims...etc. I've felt like their move away from preview coverage has left me with much less interesting things to read there. Although, that is totally down to personal taste. I hope he enjoys his time there!
Man that sounds awful! I'm glad it all eventually sorted itself out. Gaming feels second nature to me now. I can't imagine how it would feel for something to just switch off like that. :-)
Colin Moriarty at IGN has been talking lately about how he has always played inverted and recently something in his brain broke and now inverted and standard controls both feel wrong. That sounds like a special hell! Has that happened to anyone on here?
