@hz1985: I can't imagine anything more sacrilegious than pausing and queuing actions during an RTS. I know Rorie mentions it, and other games might let you as well, but REAL TIME Strategy games should always be played in REAL TIME.
When did we decide we had to move on as fast as we can when Dan pulls one of his "I didn't know water was wet." statements? I feel like every time it comes up Vinny tries to move the conversation as fast as he can, and... I always want to hear it. Why Dan thinks the way he does. Is it because Vinny and the rest don't like it? Or is it the audience? I don't understand.
WOW at how many of the people in the comments want to bring Tali back. Bioware made sure the game makes sense if you lose her. Even without Tali it dosen't "Ruin." ME3.
She died, live with that action. If I was playing I might have restarted (And if Alex wants to, I respect that.) but I don't see any reason the comment gallery should be trying so hard to get her revived. Don't you wanna see a new way it plays out?
You know what I'm so tired of? Whenever someone doesn't like an old game, they go "Oh, I don't have the NOSTALGIA For it, clearly implying that the only reason some people do is that they do.
Like, I agree with a lot of his points! I like Character classes! Older FF games are fun! But there's no reason to imply that FF7 is only liked for Nostalga's sake. Good games stay good! I played Chrono Trigger for the first time over a decade before it came out and it was amazing. You don't need Nostalgia to explain why someone likes FF7.
@anthony: I think it might entirely be age. At the time I think Miranda was considered a very good approximation of yvonne, but eight or nine years later and... it becomes more noticeable...
