Agreed on 3DW. Was baffled that the Wii U Mario game they decided to port was NSMBU, a slice of factory-made Papa John's, when there was a beautiful Brooklyn pie just sitting there
I am for experiments, but I have been listening and watching less and less of GB content because it is so long. There is really no need for the Bomb/Beastcasts to be 2.5-3 hour behemoths every week, and an hour long review of a game is really just more of the same problem. I like the short and to the point review, but I shouldn't have to find a way to devote an hour of my day to get something more in depth.

On all seriousness, it’s just a list. And it’s Giant Bomb’s list. The best game of the year for Giant Bomb was the game they played repeatedly on their site and they loved, just like 2016 and 2015 (albeit 2016 being a legitimate contender in my worthless opinion). I’m glad people I like enjoyed themselves with PUBG as much as they did. I didn’t, but nothing is gospel. All hail PUBG.
PS. Horizon really got fucked by releasing so early in the year. Recency bias is a bitch.
2K/Yukes absolutely deserves a PLEASE STOP after nearly 20 years of middling to awful games. Imagine releasing 18 games and only 3 of them are any good, and now are getting progressively worse.
