We watched the news at the highschool I was attending, and then I went to my retail job and there were no customers. It was like a surreal snow day. Also people were lining up out into the streets to get gasoline because they feared of a price hike.

It's cool that a large amount of Patrick's content is trying to sway people to be more tolerant on the internet but the second people critique how he's using the internet for his profession he threatens moderation because we just can't be as right as him.

In colonial times people in Europe thought operas were ruining youths' minds. Old people die and young people become old and then they hate the next thing that comes along. I'm 29 and I think twitter is unreadable trash for children, I can't imagine how my folks felt about me playing MUDs and MUSHes all day.
