As a Norwegian I sort of get why they did it, but victims and killer played these kinds of games. It's just silly of them to do this. Who buys games at these stores anyway?

Especially concidering a Norwegian expert (I can't provide a link, it's been lost in all the terrorism stories) said that games actually can get people to be less violent, because they take their anger out on polygons, and not people.

I guess I'll go down to the local record store and ask them to remove all CD's by Helene Bøkslo, because the madman used her Age of Conan-songs to rile himself up.

Edit: Also, it's temporary, as Marnox said.

And if they don't care about economy, they're terrible at being capitalists.

And because of risk of being they'll put him in isolation. Where the only person he'll get to talk to is his lawyer from time to time. He will not be allowed to write or receive letters. Basically, he's going to spend the rest of his life alone. I can't even imagine a worse faith.

He also said "I'm a member of Labour, and I've got a knife because I'm scared."

Give the cops some time to figure him out before concluding. The rumoured smiling could be the shock or whatnot.

And the deathtoll is expected to rise, as they carefully look over the island.

Shooter was a 32 year old ethnic norwegian. Looks like political terrorism.

It may have been said before, and you may have heard it on the news, but do NOT attempt to make contact with people at Utøya. They're hiding and may have not have silenced their phones in the panic.

Good god, this is the most horrible day ever. At least everyone I know is safe and sound.

Before reading this I was considering investing my $1000 tax refund in the stock market, or more likely putting it into a fund. But I would without a doubt donate it to SWERY in stead. Sure, I won't make more money off of it, but I'd get paid dividends from karma points and a probably awesome game.

Life isn't just about cash, it's also about fun and games. And I know one guy who can fix the last two with a bit of the first.

I'm in Norway, and they sent the game early the 16th of may. But 17th of may is the Norwegian constitution day and there are no postmen working. And now the tracking hasn't registered any locations after it's been sent.
Me too. Got it yesterday. Any Norwegians should check out gamezone. Their delivery is ridiculous. This, of course, has nothing to do with the UK. But you're all in for a goodie when it arrives.

UK, Ireland and the middle east, according to their twitter.

I don't play online games, but I'd very much like to change my password. Norway next, please?
