There's no limit to how many screenshots you can upload as long as the screenshots are of value and serve a purpose. Uploading dozens of screenshots is perfectly acceptable as long as they are meaningful and are of good quality. Uploading official art/concept art is also fine. What you're planning to do sounds like a great idea and I would go for it.

I am also having the same issue. In addition, I can't seem to click on the images themselves. (Firefox 54.0.1- Windows 10)

Yeah when you upload an image and then try to attach a tag, it gives an error message.

A think a good potential feature would be some sort of sub-catagory where users could specify if a game was released on the digital store/physical, or both.

I think it's a good idea and you should go for it. And yes, I do think they're not in the wiki simply because no one has added them yet.
